We woke up and went to breakfast at a nearby diner. Then we walked back to the campground. Our plan was to take the day off because of rain.
When we passed by the office, the woman who runs the place asked us if we would rather stay in a cabin for no extra charge. The only catch is that we would have to walk 4 miles to their sister campground.
We jumped on the offer and went to pack up our things. We thanked them and walked the 4 miles to the other location.
We got there and settled in to the nice cabin. A woman who had walked across America that lives nearby came to say hello. It was great to meet another crosser.
Then we did what we needed to do…. relax.
I rigged up my handle bars on the rafter in the cabin to where my phone was able to serve as a TV screen. Then I watched Netflix all day. Stick hung around on the patio and did whatever he did to relax. Total easy afternoon. Loved it.
