Stick and I slept in and enjoyed the awesome loft that we were in. Then we went to pick Lindsay up from the hospital. Thankfully, she will be ok and still wants to continue. We all headed to Newport, RI to visit a friend.
Erin lives in Newport and I’ve been waiting the whole trip to see her. She walked across the country too. We ended up walking some together in 2016. She is so awesome and it was so good to see her again. She took us around the beautiful town and caught up and told stories from our walks. It was a fun group to be a part of.
Then we headed up to Bridgewater, MA to go to a cool event that was put together by a mother who lost her son, Emmett. It was a great group of people and they were so welcoming to our crew. We had a potluck dinner and then I gave a very emotional speech telling my story and things I’ve learned from the walk. I haven’t cried like that in a while.
Aimee, the organizer of the event, paid for a hotel room for all of us and we headed there to get some rest and that is exactly what we did.
You guys are so amazing and wonderful people. Never doubt for a second about the tremendous impact on those that have met you, are following on your blog or outright just stalking you. LOL. Much love to you and Stick and Domino.
