Rainy day off. We drove to Fairfax, VA where my Uncle Todd lives to visit and pick up a package I had sent there.
We were planning to go into D.C. after that but the rain was heavy and persistent. We called the day a bust and decided to enjoy relaxing time off. My uncle let us stay with him for the night.
We went to REI to waste some time and went to eat lunch then headed back to my uncle’s house. He made us a great dinner and we enjoyed the evening talking and catching up. Todd is the Head Coach of the women’s soccer team at George Mason University and is going to try to get some of the players to walk with us in the next few days.
A good day and a good brain break for us. We have a lot going on this weekend so an easy day was great.
Tomorrow should be an exciting day…
